The First Ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show
One of the coolest projects I’ve had the chance to be a part of was the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show! ⚽️🌎
Produced by Global Citizen, this historic show brought together some of the biggest artists in the world on football’s biggest stage, all in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. Together, the campaign has raised more than $60M to expand access to education worldwide, reaching 400,000 children across 20 countries. I still can’t really believe I got to be apart of making something like this happen.
The original soccer ball concept was designed by Chloe Olesinski, our Senior Designer, Izabela’s 15-year-old daughter, which made getting to see the idea grow into the final campaign that much more special. 🥹
It was an honor to contribute across a range of design and production needs, from layout and typography to artist imagery, helping bring the campaign’s visual identity to life across its many applications.
To make the excitement of the World Cup accessible to New Yorkers beyond the stadium, we also hosted a free watch party in Central Park, where 50,000 people gathered to watch the match and halftime show together as a community.
I’m so so so grateful to have been part of the small, but mighty creative team that helped bring this historic moment to life, you guys are the best!! Raef Payne, Kat Galbo, Izabela Rodzen-Olesinski, Anna Tang, Lawrence Quayson, Nicole Rauen, and Molly Chapin.
